Friends of the Library Book Sales & Donation

The Friends of the Hollis Social Library hold several used book sales annually to raise funds for library program enrichment. We welcome book donations at our shed behind the library during regularly scheduled public book donation events, or you can contact us at friends@hollislibraryfriends.org to set up a day and time to make your donation. 

The Friends gratefully accept most used books in good to excellent condition except the following: Magazines, encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks older than 2 years, sheet music, audio cassette tapes, VHS tapes, and DVDs.

Please be advised that in an effort to keep moisture out of the shed so that the books stay dry, we do not accept donations when there is snow on the ground. In order to protect your donations, we ask that books not be left unattended outside the shed at any time.
